Based on the Isle of Wight, Coppersmith is a modern folk duo playing all original songs. They draw on themes from folk tales and history and they also have a strong interest in songs with a social message and often play at fundraising events for Amnesty International, Planet Aware and local charities.
In 2018 Glenn won the Watford Folk Club Song Writing Competition with a song called “Mary and the Silkie Boy”.
